In partnership with the Florida Department of Health’s Bureau of Vital Statistics, certified copies of Florida birth certificates can be obtained from the Tax Collector’s office.
Only simple applications can be processed. Applications are only accepted from either the child named on the birth record (if 18 or older) or a parent named on the birth record. Valid identification must be presented at the time of application.
$21.25 for the first copy, and $15.00 for each additional copy of the same birth certificate. Acceptable forms of payment: Cash, money order, or credit/debit card (convenience fees apply). NO personal checks.
